Ensuring your wedding invitations feel as good as they look

Choosing the right paper or card stock can make a big difference to the perceived quality of your design. For instance, kraft paper stock works well with a rustic design but doesn’t suit a colourful design with photographs. All our papers (including the standard stock) have been chosen because of their sturdy weight and great colour fidelity. The right envelope colour can really enhance your wedding invitation suite too. With over one hundred colours to choose between, including metallics and woodgrain options finding a complimentary envelope is easy.

A note about Straw Kraft

The go to stock for people wanting a recycled card. This is a bold choice and makes for a beautiful invite but the light brown colour of the card makes it not suitable for photographs as it distorts the colours – a white dress for example would no longer be white.

Real Wood Stock

Our real wood papers are made from very thin wood veneer and have a paper backing which means they can only be used for single-sided printing  (the wood side is printed). Thinner than our other stocks – each piece has unique grain variations like a wood board.

These are often used as envelope liners, belly bands and swing tags.

Glitter Card

These glittered card sheets are loaded with brightly sparkling glitter which gives a dense cover and a brilliant shine. They are single sided and not suitable for printing by our machines. However they make for beautiful envelope liners and bellybands.

Corner Options

Rounded corners is the most cost effective way of enhancing your invite and setting it apart from others. It’s amazing how this one, simple technique can really enhance your invitation and we recommend that you seriously consider this option and the cost is minimal. That said, while most designs do look better with rounded corners, not all do.

Which designs look best with rounded corners?

Virtually any design that doesn’t feature a border will work. If your design features a frame or border, please, don’t order rounded corners.
